Seeing it's from BHCC, probably a conversion. I thought all 1972's had the "VW" ignition column?

If it's a true 72' six, could be worth bucks.

wait, wasnt this car supposed to be a 73 yesterday?

still no VIN posted

No side dash vents and fixed passenger seat would seem to imply its earlier than 72, but whos knows, could be a complete cobbled together mess. not sure why they dont just post the vin already

discussing the car in question. Some paperwork indicates a 71 but either way, woof!

Looks to be a conversion car.

If so they went to a lot of trouble to not only put an original 6 motor mount on it but to make it look like it had been there for 50+ years. I love that the muffler hanger is half rusted away as well.

Yes, all '72 914-6 cars had the VW ignition column switch. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

I've wanted a real 1972 914-6 for quite a while. It's a rare 914 and almost impossible to find. This one was confirmed to be a 1971.

I would go there with cash and haggle that price down and take it home. Too many irons in the fire right now.

Here's a blast from the past. This car was destroyed. Owner was nearly killed. Trees don't give much. Cut the roof off to get him out. Engine was knocked completely out of the back of the car.

BHCC put it "back together" to sell.
