I can’t measure anything for ya, just looking online at pics.
Yours looks to be a 4 hard to judge, here’s a six. What do ya think. Maybe a real six owner can measure for ya.

Funny enough, I have read (but cannot confirm) that the -4 porthole valance fits a 914-6 that is using a 911 muffler!

Dave,
I am guessing your right about the 911 muffler fitting the 4 valance. The only difference in the mufflers was the angle of the bend. The hole on the 4 might have been coincidental with the slot of the 911 bumper.

I've never had an early 4cyl. valence but have seen plenty of pictures that tell me
compared to a 6 cyl. the hole is smaller and further inboard.
