So i have managed to get all the wiring worked out in this 914 i have that was a jumble, i also replaced the fusebox with a more up to date blade fuse box , i have everything working, but no high beams , main beams work, but so the stalk for high beams and the lights go off, so i am guessing its the relay ? can anybody point me to the corrrect light relay, the one on this car is a 4 pin

It is most likely the relay. It is easy to bench test it and can be done with a 9v battery and an ohm meter. The newer style replacement relay requires a jumper IIRC. I think Pelican has them. I have one if you can't find one from one of our suppliers. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
