Can someone tell me where the single black/blue wire that provides power for the defrost light on the floor behind the shifter comes from? What or where is the other end connected to?
When I screw the light holder to the floor and connect the wire I blow out fuse 7 on the fuse panel.
It looks like it is coming from the back of the car, but maybe not???
Would appreciate the help. Thanks

Basically it is fed from the headlight switch along with all of the instrument gauge bulbs. The black/blue wire is the +12v side going to the bulb, and it grounds through the screw fastening the base assembly to the tunnel; or if in a center console there is a brown wire that connects to it.
