I have all the bolts and screws except one. The door handle is supposed to have a screw in it, shown on the pelican tech article. Mine has no screw. I've done this before on 73-74 914 without problem. I cannot find a screw on this 71. Is there something special about a 71 that is different? There is no screw there, at least not where it should be.

Pry out the little black plastic cap that sets in the handle recess and you will see the screw. Until you know about the cap, that screw is completely hidden from view.
