Maybe I'm dumb, but is this basically a tab that you mount another mount to? I can't quite figure out how it works from the pic, but I'm definitely looking for a passenger seat mount for a fire extinguisher.

It’s pretty much that simple. It is in the shape of a T (offset) that has to bolt holes in it then a large rectangular washer that is used as a means to sandwich the T , seat material, rectangular washer , and supplied bolts,nuts. The T has bend in it to clear the seat and bring it closer to the floor to keep out of the way of legs. It has a few holes in the end to bolt your fire extinguisher bracket to. You may have to drill different holes depending on your fire extinguisher but zero modifications required for your 914. It’s pretty simple but saves a bunch of time and effort for everyone else in figuring something out. This just works
