Saw this on my way out.
Looks like a small fire in the engine and toasted the grill.
I don't know why the HE and exhaust was on the passenger seat.
Normally no one is allowed to dismantled anything at the yard.

I got the VIN for Sir Andy.

Not model year correct heat exchangers in the interior. Caught on fire before they were installed?

Looks like a nice car!

Whoever left the exhaust pieces sitting on what looks like decent seats should suffer 40 lashes with a solid antenna mast!

Probably totalled, sold to the insurance company, figured it would likely be scrapped, "not my problem any more"...

Though myself, I'd'a probably tried to buy the salvage.

I'm 30 minutes away so If someone who is not local buys this car I'm willing to pick it up and tow it to my home for a month of FREE storage....gives you time to coordinate transport.

CONDITION: Must be a 914world supporting member.

I just tried to find the auction at Copart...
Even specified "Mentone Calif"

No luck!

Anyone have a link to the auction?

Thanks @saladin

The exhaust was NOT in the interior at that point!

That looks like a NICE one to save.

Too far for me but...

ValcoOscar made a hell of an offer!

Sometimes the auctions have a buy it now like this one.

https://www.copart.com/lot/44475814/clean-t...-914-nj-trenton

That one does not interest me. 14.5Kfor a wiped out project!

That's a ROACH in my book...
