Can anybody point me in the direction of a supplier for door panels for my '73 with a hole for the window crank and a webbing loop for door handle or do I have to buy blank panels and attempt to fashion one myself? I don't care about losing the interior locking mechanism.

Thanks in advance!

I looked for these a couple of months back and couldn’t find anything specific for a GT style door panel. I ended up sourcing a pair of blank door panels from 914 rubber

They don't list any 914 items on their site.

Call them. Ask for Bob. He loves to talk about their products.

I just bought a set shipped cross country for roughly $253($217 and change before tax and shipping)......from Vintage Euro Parts in Valencia, CA. They are very nice, light, and have no holes cut in the vinyl, so you can modify to your desire. They have holes cut in the board for both cranks and handles.

Unlike stock, the vinyl doesn't have brickweave or whatever it is called. It's just a lightly textured vinyl....looks a bit like the surface of textured leather. Also, the top section of the door panel(that you would rest your arm on) isn't as pronounced as stock....in other words, it doesn't protrude out any farther than the rest of the panel.

I love mine as far as looks go, and you can modify to your choosing. I haven't installed them yet because I'm changing my doors out to early doors for reduced weight.

Here's the link: https://vintageeuroparts.com/product/914-do...ts-porsche-914/

They are currently out of stock, buy I THINK they make them. If you have an interest, I would call them.

Can't you just order "blank" door panels from 914Rubber? I did a few years back. Did want holes for the door pockets.

I heard back from Bob @ AppBiz and they no longer make these for 914.

Thanks for the link to Vintage Euro Parts and for the 914Rubber idea. I had only searched plug and play options so far. Should be pretty easy surgery to set up a black one the way that I want.

Thanks all!

While reading up in various sources, noted that the plastic door pulls on the factory gt's were sourced from a Fiat 600; our car has black plastic.

One of the guys on pelican makes them from titanium. Expensive but a lot nicer than the plastic ones.
