Not so long ago, IDK maybe it was a long time ago, you could just get a set of carbs from PMO. Now after some considerable searching around, all I can find are the "kits" which have a bunch of stuff I just don't need, and I already have WAY too much stuff I don't need.

I remember thinking $2000 was an awful lot for a pair of carbs....LOL.....Now a pair of new IDA-3C's are looking like a bargain..

yeah I knew there would be a lot of this. BTDT. Like I spend all day, and sometime night screwing around with hardware and software for my job. Just not interested.

IDK Clay......I might just anyway at this rate....

does anyone know why the Redline description says the new IDA-3C does not fit "reverse mounted applications such as 914-6"? It's the same linkage and the fuel lines come from the same direction. IDK how they wouldn't work.

Looks like I'll have to call redline next week.

Yes they did, but up until I think pretty recently you could still get just two carbs without buying a whole kit

You could always go with these:

https://www.jenvey.co.uk/throttle-body-kits...ottle-body-42mm

They look like carbs, but they are throttle bodies. The injectors and TPS are internal.

Attached Image

Complete bolt on replacement for carbs.

Use them with a Microsquirt and hide everything under the air cleaner.

Call (or email) PMB on Monday about this. PMO is an EMPI brand now and PMB is an EMPI reseller. Our parts guys can reach out to our EMPI rep and see if that is something that can be sourced seperatly.
