Dear World -

My forever helpers & guides: there is a sweet, original owner 944 Turbo (951 to Porscheophiles) just south of Dayton, OH and I'd like a good mechanic who can do a PPI on it for me.

Anyone who knows of one I'd appreciate their contact info.

On a 914 NOTE - my sweet '76 "Ruby" is my daily driver and I could not be enjoying her more. She's running & shifting like new but with a lot more pep than when new from my 2056 rebuild and new dual IDF-40 carbs. Getting a consistent 24mpg on regular gas even tho I push her fairly hard.

At local C&C yesterday and got plenty of attention. Even the new GT3-RS parked next to her with respect! Then today drove her to area Shenandoah PCA meet-up at Fine Creek Brewery for a great time with PCA folk. RichB45 parked on my right at C&C and was there at the PCA meet-up today as well. He just found and is restoring a sweet '68 912 - the 914's sister car - right?

Will provide pics if anyone is interested......

Oh, my mint '81 928 and mint '87 944 S are still running like new as well and get weekly use. But the 914 gets the daily nod......I know. I'm spoiled.

TIA!

GN
