Part of my theory depending on what day of the week it was and who made the part was what you were using on the production line. I have a 3rd version but no access to it right now. One is larger than the other.

Soon enough this will be the nonsense that differentiates a 100 pt concours car. I never thought I’d live to see the day when 914s were considered to be concours worthy by the P-car crowd. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

“Don’t cha’ know they only used the small icon for build dates between 2/72 and 4/72?” (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chair.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif)

Important Note:
I have no idea whether the statement above is true - used for illustrative purpose only. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I only posted knobs to mess with techies. Your statement is a great illustration of the nonsense gone through.
