This owner of this car in this article says he put in a Boxster S trans. When I've researched in the past it didn't possible/feasable.Attached Image

It is quite possible. I have one that has a 3.6 based 911 engine and a Cayman 6 speed. But it is not easy. The Boxster transmission was never designed to work with an air cooled Porsche motor. It requires extensive fabrication. There is no kit available.

I would have to see pictures of the transmission installation to be sure.
