Hi- I’ve followed every thread that I can find and believe strongly that I have removed everything. But still can’t seem to crack it. After quite a bit of wiggling, I feel the case is almost open. I can see that the case is separated almost all the way around the case. That said, I seem to be stubborn around the top.
Any ideas? I haven’t gotten too rough with the case. It’s mostly cracked open, just can’t get it all the way. This corner seems stuck https://imgur.com/a/aeXGqwB |

Make sure that the one hidden bolt is really undone. Use some penetrating fluid in spots and on the long studs to make everything slippery. Use a hard rubber mallet to loosen.

After some more wiggling and some dead blow work, the case seem split all around. I don’t think that can happen with a bolt still in place. I think the answer is more wiggling. Should this thing pop open or can I expect to wrestle this all the wa? |

What they said. Do not use a screwdriver or pry bar.
Or use a rubber mallet. Or use the tool: https://www.jbugs.com/product/16-9601.html?...585513252260936 |

Bad things then happen when the screwdrivers and big hammers come out. Glad you did have them all out and proceeded cautiously (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) Good job! |
