I have the wiring harness in the car, the fuse panel connected, the gauges connected, and the ignition switch installed. There are no other loads on the wiring harness at this time. (e.g. No lights, no motors, no relays)

When I turn the key, I hear the relay on the fuse panel click and the tachometer needle jumps.

The hazard switch works as expected. Both turn signal lights flash.

When I pull the light switch 1/2 way out the dash illumination comes on and the green light on the speedometer comes on. This means the parking lights are on.

When I pull the light switch all the way out the green light on the speedometer turns off. This means the headlights are on.

When I click the turn signal forward, the blue high-beam indicator comes on. Click it again and the blue high-beam indicator turns off.

Here is where it gets weird: When I pull the fog light switch out, with the light switch all the way out the blue high-beam indicator comes on. Is this normal?

Also, the turn signals switch doesn't cause the turn signals lights to blink.

I've been through all the wiring on the fuse panel, and it seems to be correct.

Any insight would be most welcome.

Thanks.

George

After doing some research, it seems that I should install the lights and then test. I'll update this post if that straightens out the weirdness.
