For the people not able to be there, how about hearing from you on your scores at Carlisle. Make me feel bad about not being there. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif)

I showed this off in another thread but here’s mine. Recaro Rallye 1 seat made specifically for 914’s and I am told, they showed up on factory GT’s.
Glenn @gms might know the story.

I got ceramic coated 6 headers (no heat) for $100. Rory and I exchanged money and parts for some things I need, -6 rubber mount, -6 oil line around the engine, fiberglass front valence, extra lid grill for GT conversion, I also scored 4 - 7x16 fuchs for $400 so I can replicate johns yellow 6 he posted recently.

Bob (saigon71) scored a complete 73 FI, powder coated bits for a song.

It's fun but I'm a little unsure what to do with it. Getting it reupholstered is probably going to be $$$. I may move it on to someone who cares more about authenticity than me.

More hot wheels than parts but got a Momo Jackie Stewart for $100. It’s got patina but I’m happy to add it to the collection.

Great to put a face and a personality to a few long time 914World members.
Connected with a NOS 914 battery tray and found a complete but 'challenged'
Marelli dizzy for parts. For $10. my original is now complete.
Spent most of the day selling my brothers NOS 356 tin.

I went to Hershey a number of times and Carsisle twice..
There used to be quite a few good deals to be had but in the later years,
the deals were much harder to find as the perceived values of the cars increased..

It was a long ride on a Friday afternoon, but it was good to meet and greet
fellow 914 owners at dinner the night before.

Maybe next year...

There was some nice stuff there.

Nice score mepstein on the seat.

Separately, I saw that 914 Auto Atlanta seat and asked the seller about it. I knew one of you guys would grab that. It was basically NOS and reasonably priced.

I picked up a set of 7 & 8 x 15 Fuchs for what I thought was a fair price. Also some strut tops with spherical bearings installed. And met up with Derek from Aircooled Racing to pick up a fiberglass early 914 front bumper he made for me.

mepstein, Rory, nditiz and others - sorry I missed meeting you guys. I was at the gathering at Desperate Times Friday night. Y'all were probably there and I didn't realize lol

The big question I have for @bdstone914 is how much of that auction stuff did you sell?
I hope you did well .

I was salivating over it, good talking with you Tom. Didn't even notice the tangerine flares until you pointed them out.
