Yes, I believe the tab on the one side is to clamp the cables in place, not mount to the case.
On a different note, I see you installed turbo valve covers on the exhausts. If you ever plan to check/adjust the valves with the engine in the car (and bolted up) you need to mill/shave some of the fins around a couple bolts. Otherwise they won't clear the trailing arm frame mounts. There are a couple threads about it. Ask me how I know.. |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) why would want to solid mount to the HX on to the case ? but why it perfectly lines up on that case stub has got me baffled ??? . Pretty sure OP knows about the lower rocker covers ,cheers. |

Terry are you still having the debate on the heat exchangers? Just one tab on that side and then the z bracket on the other side Yes kind of……..not sure I know what you mean on Z bracket….i see a bracket on outboard side and assume it must attach to something. On valve covers ……will be changed before installing in the car…..but have a set of original look alikes ( SC) that are aluminum and purportedly won’t leak. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) vs magnesium originals. Now to find them. |
