Hi all,
I’m looking for a couple of clear pics of the corner where the window outer scraper and rear vertical targa seal meet. There’s more of a gap than I would like, so wonder if folks made unique cuts/trim to either to get them to seal a little better. How far down should the vertical seal go? Should the outer scraper be trimmed to complement the end? Should the two seals touch? It’s a ‘75, so different window end caps. Anyone do something custom? Thx -Triston |

Thx -Triston Could be my misunderstanding of the proper terminology, but to me the window scraper is at the bottom of the window and the targa seal is at the top of the window. Both are horizontal and thus do not actually meet. Do you mean the seal at the sail panel? Am I just totally confused here? In any case I took pictures of both the top and bottom of the rear of the window on the passenger side of my car. It is also a 1975. The rubber was replaced by a body shop >12 years ago when the car was repainted by a previous owner and thus I can't give you any insight on installation, but hopefully this helps. If you need more pictures of other areas just let me know. ![]() ![]() |

Thank you. Second pic is what I was looking for. I’m just not liking that gap behind the window. Looks like the vertical seal is too short? Mine is the same way.
I wonder if anyone has ‘solved’ that? |
