Yesterday I attended the unveiling of Porsche of Tucson's entry into the 2025 Porsche Restoration Challenge. This is their fifth year and they decided to go off the beaten path (i.e. not a 911) and build a 914 Safari/Baja!

Lots of custom touches on this one!

Its a 1972, with a 2.0 dual carbs, custom roof rack that folds up so you can remove the targa, etc..

This is my newly acquired safari build. Raised 40mm with modified suspension. Changed to 6 x 16 Fuch and 205/65 mud and snow tires. I dont think the tires will see much of either.
