I have a refreshed side shift transmission that I've been holding onto but realized that I'm probably not going to end up using it. I freshened this up at a Dr. Evil clinic a few years ago so it's in very good condition. The transmission was in good shape to begin with however we inspect everything and replaced the 1st and 2nd syncros, bearings and gaskets.

It's been sitting on my shelf ever since so I haven't run the unit. Since I'm not a professional I don't want to say it was "rebuilt" however I did go through it with Dr. Evil and it should be good to go. Consider this a good used refreshed transmission however no warranties implied or otherwise.

$1700 - local pickup preferred (Orange County CA)

I'm not a shop so I don't do installation. Probably best to call your mechanic and ask what they would charge to install it.

@Chupee , One major issue with installing this gearbox on your car is the fact that you car is set-up for a tail shifter transmission, unless it was already converted?

The one for sale here is a side shift which would be a great shifting improvement for your car. That being said, you will need all of the conversion components to achieve this. This is actually a pretty long list of parts when all said and done. Do a seach here and I am sure you will find threads.
