Wow, end of an era. Dude was a legend in so many automotive circles.

He lived to see his family go on to do great things and carry on his legacy. While his passing is sad news, we should all be so fortunate when our time comes.

RIP:
“Gary L. Emory, 54 of Philo, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, with his loving family by his side.
Gary was born on July 14, 1969, in Zanesville. He is the son of Mona (Mills) Morgan and the late Jerry Emory Sr. He worked as a truck driver for ECM before retiring. Gary loved the time he spent with his family, most especially his grandson, Grady.
In addition to his mother, Gary is survived by his wife of twenty-eight years, Stacy L. (Stewart) Emory, whom he married on February 3, 1996; his son and daughter, Tim (Dixie) Savage and Tori Emory; his grandson, Grady; his two sisters, Trudy (Jim) Hendershot and Idella Emory; his mother-in-law, Patty Stewart; his brother-in-law, Brian (Tracie) Stewart; his several close friends, Aric (Rayla) Vanallen and their son, Wes, Rodger (Teresa) Vest, Greg Hartman, Randi Arnold, Donnie "Big D" Jenkins; his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other friends.
In addition to his father, Gary is preceded in death by his best friend, Terry L. Vandagriff, who passed away on December 24, 2020; his siblings, Jerry Emory Jr., Edith Emory, Teddy Emory; as well as his father-in-law, Bill Stewart.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Gary at 1 pm on Friday, March 29, 2024, at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. Pastor Lisa Jenkins will officiate the service.”
