I personally like a convex mirror on the right side of my cars, the "Objects look closer than they appear" ones.

I've asked George if he could have these made thinking that enough of us would want them for him to have them made.

He said he needs 50 to do that, I'm hoping he will do it for 25.

I'm thinking he should provide them in both glass only and a full right mirror with the convex glass.

How many here would be interested in each?

1. Replacement Glass Only

2. Full right side mirror with Convex glass

Of course price is a major issue. Maybe put down max you'd be willing to pay.

Thanks to all who share interest. Please sign up here if interested.

I'd seriously consider late/74 glass-only. Not sure what my cost threshold is though.

Interested as well. Glass only. Right now replacement mirror glass is $26.95 at AA. Maybe 50% more for convex mirror? My limit would be right around that.

Check with your local automotive glass shops around town. There's a shop near me that said they can make convex mirror replacement glass.

I wonder if mirrors from larger mirrors can be cut down to work. I had a guy make stock replacements for $5 each. He scribed them with a glass cutter, snapped off the excess and wet belt sanded the corners.
I would not expect any bargains from AA.
