We have the motor out doing a refresh of all lines seals and sorting out some stuff..

Ordered a new thermostat and cable not sure how it attaches to the flapper in the fan may be we are missing some hardware..

Here's a bad pic, former owner had it rigged open with a zip tie..

Can anyone show me the proper connection and see what if any missing bolts I may need 73 1.7L

A couple of hints off the parts list and a pic from when I did my engine. I went to a bicycle shop and got a cable for $5 and it works perfect. I think there are some other parts you are missing.
