New member to the forum since I recently picked up this '75 914 with a 1.8. Excited to get driving the car and learning more about 914s from the forum.

It has just over 68k on the odometer with documentation that its accurate. Needs a little TLC, first project has been going through the shift linkage and replacing all the bushings.

For anyone interested, I will be posting updates on my Instagram (@66ninetwelve) with any work that I do on the car.

ok - 1.8 research time. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

that car looks like she is pretty original.
nice find.

so when you got time.

photos.
1. tune up sticker. its white with black diagrams. on lhs of engine tin upper surface.
2. emission sticker. usually white with red writing. on top of fan casting on engine.
3. three digit white paint stamp on engine tin. usually on lhs and hidden behind where the heater fan blower hose curves around. but can be on rhs of engine tin.

do you know where it was originally sold. california? or 49 states?

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

but before you do that, enjoy driving that one. looks like a real little beauty.

Nice find! Very first thing is to check the condition of your fuel lines. If the center tunnel still has plastic lines replace them asap with stainless steel fuel lines.

Thanks for the welcome. From what I can tell the car is mostly original and the PO had fuel lines replaced. I will be sure to post some more photos based on the other comments to see what is actually there.

Strange, usually '75 front bumpers are atrocious, but on a silver car they look appropriate.
What a great coup to find this car. Congrats.
