Sunday morning as I was pulling out of the driveway I noticed a flash under the dash, then i realized the gauge lights were out.
Worked on it last night and put in what is labeled as an 8 amp fuse (from Amazon) Turned lights on and after a minute or two it melts the fuse. Tried it again tonight and same thing. I was under the center console recently getting my blower motor control lever to make the fan work (turned out to be fuse in engine compartment) I don't think i disturbed anything under there. Any thoughts on what else to look for? Attached thumbnail(s) |

When I was fitting my 6cyl gauges I had a failure with the dimmer ,when turned it had a dead short ,ended up bypassing it and no more blown fuse ,I wasn't worried as I have led lighting so no need for it anyway. I 'am not aware that you can repair the dimmer as mentioned I had no need to ,cheers |
