Does anyone know if there is an LED bulb that fits an original fog light for 1973 914? does such a beast even exist?

These are available here: Spokeworks 914 Foglights 70-74

They burn 9W vs 35W OEM and are twice as bright.

And Spoke's LED conversion was really easy to install in original fog housings! I'm now using them for daylight running lights so drivers can see my little car on the road, even if they can't see Delphi Green coming! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Thanks guys,

I think these will be the way to go. Jamie, I know what you mean as far as how anyone can miss the color of your car, so I decided to go with Porsche Acid Green, that doesnt get much brighter. Spoke, after going to your website, I know I will be making all of my lights with your LED boards. They are fantastic, and I like the "Family First" policy.
