I got a new A.I.R. LE spoiler and I wanted to see what's the "correct" way to install these. Mine was definitely a hack job from a previous owner and I can't ask Google nor the 914world search the right question to get the answer.

The way I started doing it was finding the center of the bumper and the spoiler, then measure measure measure and drill holes to match the previous DIY holes in the bottom of the bumper. From there, 2x 8mmx25mm bolts were used to hang the spoiler on the bumper. While, it does make it nice to remove the entire front assembly as one (with the conversion to studs for the bumper), it's also a complete pain in the ass to get it centered.

Thanks!

Aaron, it mounts just like the stock valance. 4 screw to the front panel and a screw with rubber spacer at each end to the fender by the wheel arch.

The valence should have 4 tabs to match the front panel.

Completely separate from the front bumper. Now if this was the Patrick Motorsport valance, then it would attach to the underside of the bumper.

Good luck! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif)
