I would love to change the long 2 pipe (early type) headers to combined
single pipe. Does anyone make the late style headers in stainless steel?

I don't know if any one did.

There was a fairly recent add in the classified for a near NOS 75-76 exhaust system.
It did sell and I cannot find that add now.

You might be the first time I've heard of someone wanting to move back.

I'd like to know why.

Emission testing maybe?

None were ever made. The ones shown are missing heat shield tin. However Ben McFarland might be able to make some for you.

These flanges maybe a place to start

Thanks, sorry I missed it.
The new SSI 4 tube exhaust are really expensive ~3k.
The pressure in big 4s seem to cause breaks in mine so I need to replace.
It seems like the late exhaust is a simple model that can use 911 mufflers.

May also prevent cracks with larger displacement 4s

I have a fairly good set of 75 thermal reactors (the pipe assembly in your pic) off of my 31K 75. My heat exchangers and all of the assorted crap you need to make the heater work (except right side fresh air induction tube-AC car) are in usable/nice shape and I could be talked out of them. Past the heat exchangers is trashed (could be pieced back together).

So, I have what you need.
The stuffs not valuable anywhere but some sections of California.

Shipping would be BS.

Now, as a performance enthusiast and a forum "friend" I would tell you to AVOID this system unless you are planning to feed a turbo charger off of them.
It's the ONLY reason I haven't trashed/gotten rid of them.
Turbos and T4s don't mix well so I will not be walking that path.

I was going to offer them up on the forum to help someone out in the emission badlands.

The problem is "primary length" for each individual cylinder. Naturally aspirated engines prefer equal primary lengths at usually fairly long 18"-36" lengths.

These are HORRIBLE in this regard for NA use. They WILL decrease performance, especially if you have a bigger, higher-strung motor.

Now 4 into one is ABSOLUTLEY the best flow path IMO. Two viable options are.

You can get Chris's stuff in different diameters, and he goes the extra effort of pairing
opposing firing order cylinders first and then pairing the 2 resulting tudes together late.
Mad scientist stuff...

His advice might be the best thing for you.
Expensive but actually worth it in my book.

And then the MSDS header. I think this is Marty's (Maltese Falcon) company but maybe wrong

This looks available in different diameters too ("specify engine size" in listing).
This is more budget friendly. The workmanship looks excellent.

You get to "build your own" past it but it ends in a good spot and fabrication should not be difficult/expensive.

Tangerine has a heat exchanger kit. I haven't seen one for the MSDS.

I would not make a bet on which system has best performance, both look excellent.

Either ARE a requirement above 150 hp output.

I have not handled either system before but have a lifetime of wrenching/modifying behind me. These would be my pics for Killer T4 stuff.

You should contact both of these companies if you have a large displacement high HP T4.
