So what was the correct finish on the MPS bracket?

The one on the right will not work at all, but I don't know where I got it from, the one on the left will work but should it be black painted , Zinc or cad?

Looks like it’s a mirror image of the correct part. Maybe from one of the very early models that actually had the MPS vacuum hose facing rearwards?

I think only the 912 ever came with an MPS... so no 911's I believe.

lots of Volkswagens though... perhaps a bus?
