Looking for a left-rear bumperette that's in "pretty good" order or "like new" if anyone has one. I'm trying to source one for my '74 LE's rear bumper. I believe the rear bumperettes are only a '74 thing.
Thanks. |

I thought '74 was the only year for for those kind of rear bumperettes.

I thought '74 was the only year for for those kind of rear bumperettes. Osnabruck914 1974 Porsche 914 2.0 You are correct! I had it backwards in my mind. I corrected my post. Thanks. from wikipedia: "Between 1970 and 1972, both front and rear bumpers were smooth without bumper guards. In 1973, bumper guards were added to the front of the car. In 1974, guards were also added to the rear bumper. In 1975 and 1976, the chrome or painted bumpers were replaced with heavy, rubber-covered units which actually made the cars more stable at high speeds." |
