I've been watching that part for years. I spoke to Rich about it in 2023 but the shipping cost killed it. It was a little more then half the cost of the part to ship it coast to coast.

I’m surprised it’s that much. I shipped a much bigger, heavier pallet of parts x-country last year for $800. Tomorrow, I’m shipping a 3.6 engine x-country on a 4x4 pallet for $475.

They couldn't stack on it so that was one thing, insurance, and home delivery was extra cost. Then there was the fees that they never mention til you get the bill of landing. Not only that but I was also being charged for the pallet and the time it took the guy to get the part on the pallet and strap it down. I kid you not. I just walked away at that point. I wouldn't mind adding it to my collection of NOS parts and maybe someday I will but I just cant justify the crazy shipping costs. |
