Bought this for a project that I ended up selling. Brand new 914 Rubber complete door panel kit in black leatherette basketweave. The kit includes the two door panels, vapor barrier kit, door panel clips, door panel cups, and two new door handle rosettes. The cost from 914 Rubber is $446.50 plus shipping and handling (which cost me $40). There was also a 2-4 week lead time when I ordered it. Buy it from me for $390 shipped with no lead time and save yourself almost $100 ($96.50 if you prefer exact numbers (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ). PayPal F&F, or plus fees. Discount for local pick up in the SF Bay Area.

EDIT: There have been some questions over what the pattern of the leatherette is (see posts below) and what years it is for. 914 Rubber describes this as "713 Late Black Leatherette Basketweave." Their guide says this is for 1975-76. However these will fit all years of 914. It was sold to me by 914 Rubber as being the correct style for my 1973 914, but that seems to be incorrect (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) . The confusion is over the terms "basketweave" vs. "brickmold" patterns. I think the problem is actually on the 914 Rubber website, which I think is incorrect, but I fully accept it could be me that is incorrect. I would have called this brickmold, not basketweave, and I think most of would as well. That's not what 914 Rubber does. I have added a close up picture below to show the pattern of these door panels so you will know what you are getting. @mikey914

Yes, that is correct. 713 vinyl with leatherette basketweave. Happy to unpack them again and get a close up if needed.

Interesting....when I ordered these I was told they were correct for my 1973 2.0. Now when I look at the 914 Rubber website it looks like this kit might actually be correct for MY 1975-1976. A little hard to interpret exactly what they are saying. However, they do have a disclaimer that says it is a "rough guide" so I suppose production date may make a difference. Apparently the difference is just the size of the brickmold. I'm going to have to refine my eye. I have both a 1974 and a 1975 and I have never noticed a difference. They both seem to drive just fine (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) . I suppose if you are going for concours then you wouldn't want to put this pattern in your pre-75 car. No difference in fit so they can go in any year car if this detail doesn't matter to you.

Thanks for helping to clarify this for any potential buyer. I wouldn't want anybody who bought this to be disappointed.

What I have seen for 73-74 is the pattern on the left which might have started in 72?

Yes, the openings are cut out in the panel (see pictures), but not in the leatherette. There has often been some element of DIY in the 914 Rubber products I've bought over the years.

I do believe the picture from the Sierra Madre site is incorrect.

We used the descriptor for the product that matched the product.

If it looks like stacked bricks, it's brick mold.-Early
If it looks like a weaved basket it's basket weave - Late
