I am just one of those guys who is leary of new members who pop up with hard to find items to sell. If they are not established with a good history I am not interested in whatever they have. The only caveat would be if they were local to me. I would need to meet and see it first hand. I would always recommend meeting at the local PD or Sheriff's Office. If they are at all hinky, they will disappear.
I had a car for sale a few years ago. I had posted a great ad with tons of pictures and a detailed description. I got a call from some guy asking, "Do it gots black interiors?" I said, "yes". He offered my asking price without hesitating and asked me to meet him in Richmond. Yeah... that was never going to happen. I said, "Nah, let's meet at the Danville Police Department at 2:00 PM. The guy immediately hung up the phone. |
