So I have replace all of my targa top seals and rubber both on the car, and targa top. Front fits very well...nice and snug. Rear latches don't seem to be able to extend far enough to capture the pin on the top. I re-built the latches, so I don't see where I'm losing length. Stiff new rubber? I'm at a loss and open to suggestions.

Can you leave the top upside down in the sun and then give it a try once things heat up a bit.

Yes, I will get it into the sun. But the contact point between the top of the targabar (metal) and the bottom shoe (metal) of the top isn't rubber. It's metal on metal. I was wondering if my latch is hooking up and not getting full extension? I should measure the height of the inside hoop of the latch at full extension and compare it with someone else's latch?
