Hey, I'm having so much fun with my 914, why not build another low-rent Porsche? Though these days 912s have come up in value a good amount. I'm looking for an early 3 gauge car (a 1965-66). I'd like a solid driver, but give the cost of restoration, I'm happy to pay for a finished car if it's done well. As long has it has some good sort out miles.
I plan to make it a fast, light, light, light, sleeper with a modified engine and running gear but otherwise stock appearance. So drivetrain is not a concern, nor matching numbers. If you know of anything please PM me. Thanks, John |

The cost of 912’s have really jumped in the last couple years. A good driver used to sell for $20-25k. Now I’m seeing $50-60k. I’m sure there are some out there for less but the market has finally realized that other than the lower powered engine, they are real Porsche’s.
Im not that smart so I bought a cheap one that needed a rustoration. |
