on the fronts...
do I HAVE TO swap out the A arm? or can I just swap out the strut and use teh 4 cylinder car's A arm and tortions

does anyone want to trade some nice used Bilstiens for some nice external adjustable Konis? the Koni struts are wearing BMW brakes now. I will be upgrading those to aluminum S calipers with the 3.5" spacing

my 4 cylinder struts have external adj Konis and my 5 lug conversion struts are wasted bilsteins

if I cant trade them here perhaps Ebay will help me recoup some costs for teh new bilsteins

No need to swap A-Arms unless you want the larger torsion bars than a stock 914. If you have an older chassis 70-72 you may need to change out your ball joints to the later style, and vice versa for older style struts
