...Mod? Milling or drilling out the circular and tack welds on the spindal and sliding the tubes down. Also bending the arms for more/less bump steer?
What is the generally aceptable $ for the mod(s)?

Jeff not a bad idea but Im thinking along the way of Randy.
The Koni Red 911 pieces.
they are "stepped" but apear to be able to be slid .5" or more before dealing with the taper. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif)
