It is a cool feeling when the numbers are the same.
I went through 111,111.1 then 222,222.2 then 333,333.3 then it finally was not worth repairing. It was a Ford f 150 with the straight 6 cyl engine. I got pictures of every milestone. My mechanic bought it for his son, fixed the timing gear and it is on its way to 444,444.4. Original motor. Never opened up. Redline 20-50 @ 5000 mile changes. George |

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) BTW, 4 is prounced "shi" which means death "shida" in the Japanese and Chinese cultures! It is very sleldom you see anything sold or packaged in 4's.

FYI: The odometer numbers click over relatively fast. I recommend driving real slow in the last half mile before all 8's! Post'em! I like to see! Now you only have 100,000 miles to go until it does it again. The old bug is almost up to 88,888 for the third time.
You got a damn pretty car there, BTW |
