What are the significant 914 racing victories while the car was new? I know the following:

Brumos 914-6GT IMSA champion, 1971
Sunauto 914-6GT Le Mans GT class win, 1970
EFR SCCA national champion, 1972 year?
Factory 914-6GT 86 hour Nurburgring winner, 1970 (also finished 2nd and 3rd)

Any others?

Well, it certainly has a pretty good history in the Autox world...

For anyone actually interested, here's a nice little history of the 914's wins at the SCCA Autox National Championships...

1973 C-Stock 914 Edwin Sanborn
1973 A-Prepared 914-6 Hary Gompf
1974 C-Stock 914 Dean Smith
1975 C-Stock 914 Nick Strine
1975 A-Prepared 914-6 Hary Gompf
1976 C-Stock 914 Jim Gray
1977 C-Stock 914 Lowel Peapody
1979 A-Prepared Ladies 914-6 Saudra Kline
1979 A-Modified Ladies 914-6 Sharon Gompf
1981 A-Stock 914 John Parsons
1982 A-Stock 914-6 John Havranek
1982 E-Modified 914-4 Gary Walton
1983 C-Stock 914 John Parsons
1983 E-Modified 914-4 Gary Walton
1984 E-Modified 914-4 Gary Walton
1985 A-Street Prepared 914-6 David Skelton
1985 A-Street Prep Ladies914-6 Susan Hagaman
1985 F-Prepared Ladies 914-6 Joan Colman
1987 C-Stock Ladies 914 Stacy Lynd
1989 C-Stock Ladies 914 Stacy Lynd
1989 F-Prepared 914-6GT Gary Wigglesworth
1989 F-Prepared Ladies 914-6GT Claudia Lyons
1990 C-Stock Ladies 914 Stacy Lynd Reitmier
1991 C-Stock 914 Jeff Reitmier
1991 C-Stock Ladies 914 Stacy Reitmier
1992 C-Stock 914 Jeff Reitmier
1992 C-Stock Ladies 914 Michelle Reitmier
1993 C-Stock 914 Steve Compton
1993 D-Stock 914 Byron Short
1993 F-Prepared Ladies 914-6 Ellen Ferguson
1994 F-Prepared Ladies 914-6 Ellen Ferguson
1995 F-prepared Ladies 914 Claudia Lyons
1995 F-Prepared 914 Andy York
2000 F-Prepared 914-6 Greg Fordahl
2000 F-Prepared Ladies 914 Jodi Fordahl
2001 F-Prepared 914-6 Greg Fordahl
2001 F-Prepared Ladies 914 Jodi Fordahl
2002 F-Prepared 914-6 Greg Fordahl
2002 F-Prepared Ladies 914 Jodi Fordahl

Not too shaby I guess, a 30 year history of championship wins. Although lately, the only place where the car is competitively classed is in F-Prepared I think...
