that's right, after chatting with the tire guys at the 25 Hour at Thill about the A048's on Sat night, they gave me a pair of 225/50/15's that had been on a car for two hours.

I used to run 225s on 7 inch Fuchs on the rear of my 914-6 with stock (massaged) fenders. I think you steelies may not have deep enough back spacing to make it fit.
