Didnt see this site posted in any other posts. Good info on local AX scene in SF Bay Area. NASA is returning to Marina with full schedule next year!

Ya'll be careful going to those things, there are OTPs there and somewhere amongst those 257 cars are gonna be some that are hella quick......and you're only gonna get 3-4 runs to be a hero. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif)

A buddy just bought a MX5 ...whatever... the newest model. On stock tires, he was a couple seconds off the pace on a 40 second course.....he drives very well, which helps. With some tires, he would be right there. Life is easier for Miata guys (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) I watch these guys come into the SCCA AXs with stock cars. Within a couple years they're into CSP & going like hell....those that are serious. Depending what SCCA does with that new motor in the SP classes....motor swaps within types.....the Miata CSP guys with the light early cars are really gonna be fast. |

Your right Trekkor... After I fogged it for Monterey Sand Fleas it should be the safest autocross venue on the planet! Rob |
