if the tire is 6 inches wide and you stretch it to 7, you'll have the sides wearing out REAL fast. The center will collapse inward and you'll need more air pressure than what you want in order to keep that center inflated....
its not a good idea. stick close to the size....no more than 6.5 inch wide rim for 6 inch tire. b |

your in error my friend.... as long as the bead sits.... your ok. how does it wear out the sides??? so your like / \ instead of | | big deal.... its a spare anyway.... question is... CAN i seat the bead on a 7" rim? 205's are perfect on a 7.. 225's are perfect for an 8... a 165 is too small for a 7???? probably.... |
