I vote wing. With using the same size tire all around you'r going to need all the downforce you can get when motoring around freshly mopped tile!

And the cool factor is a ten.

Only put a wing on a 914 if you need it for downforce.
They look better without one - in any scale. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif)

P.S. - Nice tires and wheels, Joe.

It's Linda's car. She is going to chase pugs with it.

There is a semi-local (Compton) RC car track, I'd frequent. You can really notice quite a difference running with/out a rear spoiler.

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/blink.gif) But, then that was a nitro powered TC3 (2sp, 4WD) touring car

Hey, The wheels match JoA9146's 911 wheels! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif)

Many years ago when I was a kid into slot cars, one of the slot car magazines did a comparison test of slot cars bodies with and without front and rear spoilers. They were testing on a big commercial slot car track that were popular in the day. Their conclusion was basically the bigger the better. Slot car bodies later evolved from scale models of race cars to unidentifiable wedge spoiler shapes. Ugly. They were fast though.

You drove out to crystal park? Damn, you have balls.

There are plenty of tracks in orange county. If you want to drive it on the track, thats a tamiya chassis so you can run it at tamiya usa in aliso viejo. They have a nice track, and if you have a tamiya car, its free!

I vote no wing. I raced a ntc3 also and they needed lotsa wing, but mine pushed like 1.5 hp to the wheels and i had 24mm wide tires. Thats an electric car, which generally doesnt need a wing unless you're running a really hot modified motor.
