getting ready to put my carbs on, and was cleaning em up when i noticed the accel pump linkage is broken.

id upload pics but im at my dads shop and no card reader is here...


its the rod that goes from the butterfly pivot to the accel pump. has a nut on it. threaded shaft........

I broke one on a set of dellortos once. I cheated and used a piece of coathanger, tapped some threads and voila! quick and dirty. got me moving again when I couldn't wait for parts.

let me clarify that a bit, I didn't use an all metal coathanger, but the pants type hanger - the rod was thicker.
