I would guess those lights came from a 964, and were originally stood much more upright. It wouldn't suprise me if you couldn't get the lights adjusted even close to correct...

I dont like the Shalom Cars to start with, and this is even worse... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wacko.gif)

Never liked that style, but I respect the work he put into it.

Does seem like a bit of a tough angle for those particular lights to handle, but some lower profile projector beams could do fine in that much vertical space....

I saw my first Chalon back in the 80's and thought it was pretty neat - except for one thing. Why are the b/c pillars so thick? Is this needed? Could you build one and leave this area stock, or are the lines that different?

if you look, they smooth out the curve above the door handle for more deadrise, I agree that is ugly

first version of the chalon without the front grill. I like my version better. The lights look stupid... maybe they pop forward like the 928s as well. either way... gay.

I like mine. The inlet to the gills actually directs air to the the engine grill. One of the early kits.

what? your gills have actual holes in them.... ???? Because mine sure dont, and if they did i'd think that was not a good idea as they would be less than 1/8 inch thick.

It was a styling attempt to hide another original line. I cut mine off, Scott cut his to lay closer to the targa...
