willow grn is a rare, good color - I would not change it. If you must, dont do it unless you plan to strip the entire car inside and out, otherwise chips here and there over time will keep revealing the grn.

Keep it original.
If you want another coloured car buy one in the colour you want. (good reason to get another...."But Honey, this ones red") Colour change cars unless really done well always show their original spots, especially when you get a chip or two. Original colour cars have a better resale value, even if they have been repainted as opposed to a colour change. If you have to change the colour, paint it the same shade of colour it is now. IE green over green This will help hide any chips that may/will develope. Colour Choices Last...It's your car do what you want with it........ |

I agree. If you must do a color change, do it right. Right means pulling it apart and doing it like they did 30 years ago. Paint it with everything that is not getting paint neatly stacked in the corner. That said, I plan to paint mine the original color, but want to put a little pearl in the Phoenix Red to give it a little flash. Have never seen a pearl orange car in person, though I suspect it would look pretty nice. What is wrong with green? Orange and green are the colors of all the 914s in my head.
I know funny and that is funny |
