I hope that I am not repeating this on our site, but yesterday I was at the book store and saw a small photo of a 914 in the top left hand corner of a magazine. Of course I had to pick it up and see what it was about.
Subie Sport Mag does a nice article on Dana Stokes 914 WRX powered street racer. Great photos and I really like the way they did the tach

Here are some of the photos.
Enjoy

Awesome, now all we need is someone to rescan these so that they're legible. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)

That tach is familiar. I think Renegade sells them. Saw one on their V8 show car.

If I do that the size will be a bit large for the web site.

i'm kinda shocked Dana didn't mention it...worse part is that he didn't share pictures of his car with us...last time I saw pictures he was roasting his old tires in a parking lot... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/burnout.gif)

Very cool! Its amazing how fast the Subaru swap craze is catching on. Articles like this will only help that.

nope, your current resolution is too high ...

the pictures above are already 250k in size but could easily be compressed down to ~30k ...

i can get 1600 x 1200 below 300k no problem ...

scan them high-res (if you haven't already) then scale them down to 1024 pixel width at 72 dpi with moderate JPG copmpression (5) ...

that should get you under 300k easy ....
