Like the topic says, I'm going to look at a 914 on Sunday and they told me it has a broken front deck lid release cable. Is there a fairly easy way to get it open so I can inspect the car?
Thanks, |

If I remember correctly, if you remove your front bumper there is a rubber grommet/plug on the body that is dead center on the front of the car,( outside facing forward) Remove this plug and you can access where the release cable hooks to the latch mechanism. Use a screwdriver to push the release/pop the hood.
