It's just the guts of a generic water temp gauge hacked into the stock (911) housing, with the stock needle. 180F is dead center.

Hey,
Very nice work! Keeping the gages looking factory. I like it. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beer.gif)

"While I was in there" I decided to add a third light socket (not easy). The tach was significantly harder than the oil gauge because it was harder to take apart, and the middle of the gauge is visible and needs to look tidy. The holes for the stock face and the mounts for the aftermarket guts were close to matching, but not close enough. I ended up having to make an adapter that rotated the guts a few degrees to make room for both sets of screws. (That's why the circuit board is a few degrees off of horizontal)
