like on this page:
http://www.porsche.com/germany/accessories...vities-service/
(also check the "Restaurierung" and "Oldtimerteile & Zubehör" links for more addresses/phone#'s)

I'm thinking he wants to know if you've got an "inside" man...someone that could pull some strings without the BS....

well...

well ... my question was not "where can i find porsche classic on the web?" ...

i know their website. i have the parts PDF. i have seen their phone number ...

my question is:
does anybody *know* anyone at porsche classic? like, you know, sort of personally ... that kind of thing ...

I don't have a "inside" contact
If there ever is to be such a thing, cause it's a only a really small operation
(about the size of your average independent p-shop)
From what I know, they're very approachable

I can see if I can dig up a name...

What do you need anyway?

I wonder if a car coming out of Porsche Classic restoration would be indistinguishable from one rolling off the showroom floor 30+ years ago?

I'm sure the craftsmanship is among the best you'll find, but would it be exactly as they were? I'm thinking something would have to be different, if not just for the carcinogens in the old body sealer and other chemicals.

@ Andi

I do have contact data (eMail) from 2 or 3 guys working at the Porsche Classic Center from a couple of questions I discussed with them - but I don't know these guys

so, if this might help you just send me a PM - I won't post these data official (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)
