I met the Loose guy back several months ago at Willow Springs. Super nice guy with good knowledge of the 914 and good prices. Ira from Tarett introduced me to him (after I had been speaking to him for 20+ minutes)

He is a club member here.

This is our own hwgunner, check out his new progress thread.

WRX914, if you can get a windshield/targa seal, I'm interested.

This thread was just pointed out to me by markb and I just want to say that I am skulking around here most days. I spend most of my time in the classifieds though. I do want to thank every one for the kind words and appreciate all the business I have gotten from club members. Special thank you's to Brad, I enjoyed our talk at willow, markb, for always helping a hopless guy out and Cap'n Krusty, for knowing just what to say every time I show up at the shop.

THANKS

If you don't need two I am sure I could take one off your hands. Just a thought.

I see the cost was $295.00. Is that per side or for both control arms?

Not to poke in and blab, but $295 get you both sides.

I got the parts yesterday. How's that for instant gratification? Nice stuff. They're going in this weekend. Car's already apart. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif)

When you get the factory ones removed, you may find that control arm openings are out of round, I used a rat tail file and a small honing tool to make them round again, you can check my blog for pictures. I still need to drill and install the zirk fittings.

I should be installing the fronts this coming weekend, they will require a little bit of work too, I had the suspension powder coated, and I'll probably have to do some sanding.
